The much quicker craft will make the trip from Phuket to Phi Phi in just 45 minutes, but it can be quite a bumpy ride, which is why it is not available for pregnant woman or children under 4 years old. It is also not recommended for older people, particularly those with back problems. However, if you can handle a few bumps, the speed of the voyage gives you more time to enjoy Phi Phi's beautiful underwater world, with many more snorkelling stops.

Catamaran for Luxury: Smooth and speedy

Choose a catamaran trip if you are with your family or elderly travellers, but with a more flexible budget. The large catamaran is as fast as the speedboat, making the crossing in just 45 minutes, but it is as smooth as the ferry, making it a very relaxing and enjoyable trip.
